Solid boundaryStronger evidence that the adjacent tiers are meaningfully separated.
Fuzzy boundaryWeak separation. Players around the line should be treated as less decisively ordered.
Tier confidenceHow strongly the current result places a player inside the displayed substitution tier.
How to read it
A rank preserves order. A tier says something different: the current evidence does not reliably distinguish every player inside that substitution class.
That means WR17 and WR19 may be ordered while still being close enough that the board should not imply a precision the evidence does not support.
